Questions founders ask.

Short, factual answers about Ayebot, its tools and what happens when you get in touch.

What is Ayebot?

Ayebot is the AI deal engine for sell-side M&A in Singapore and Southeast Asia, built by Aye Bot Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202549226G). It maps the buyer market, speeds up the sale process and keeps every number traceable, while the judgement stays with the adviser. How it works.

Is Ayebot free?

Yes. The buyer finder, the sector buyer data, the readiness check and the valuation range cost nothing and need no account, and none of them asks for your email before showing a result. A sale mandate is different: it is advisory work by the Growth Alliance Capital team, and fees are agreed per engagement. What is free.

Who runs Ayebot?

Ayebot is built by Aye Bot Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202549226G), Singapore, and was founded by Gwee Yi Chen. Growth Alliance Capital is the advisory brand, and M&A engagements are contracted with Bbreaker Private Limited (UEN 201622799H).

Who is Gwee Yi Chen?

Gwee Yi Chen is the founder of Bbreaker and Aye Bot and a co-founder of Growth Alliance Capital. He has worked in M&A since 2014, spent 2018 to 2023 at Nihon M&A and started his own M&A boutique in 2023; across his career he has closed more than S$200 million in transactions. He built Ayebot as an AI tool for his own deal workflow. About.

Who is Ayebot for?

Founders of companies in Singapore and Southeast Asia who are considering a sale in the next three years. The buyer data covers 12 sectors and 6 markets: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.

How many buyers does Ayebot map?

2,358 acquirers are on our buyer register, de-duplicated and synced 8 October 2026. They include 406 private equity buyers and 212 acquirers headquartered in Japan, with headquarters in 32 countries where identifiable. On the register means listed in it, not a relationship.

Where does the buyer data come from?

From the Growth Alliance Capital buyer register, which records each buyer's stated target sectors, markets and, where stated, target revenue range. Ayebot publishes only aggregate counts from it, never a buyer, client or deal name. Buyers by sector.

What is the track record behind Ayebot?

Gwee Yi Chen has closed more than S$200 million in transactions since 2014, and S$750 million in sell-side mandates were signed as of October 2026. Since December 2023, 36 buyers have signed NDAs on our sell-side processes, across 12 processes, and 8 written buyer proposals were received across 5 processes. A cross-border sale to a Japanese strategic buyer completed in October 2025. These are minimum counts, and names are not published.

Will my enquiry stay confidential?

Yes. What you send goes to Gwee Yi Chen personally, it is used only for your process, and nothing is shared without your permission. In a sale, live mandates run under a project codename, buyers first see an anonymous profile, and your name is released only after a buyer signs a non-disclosure agreement.

What happens after I submit a form?

Your details and what you entered in the tool go to Gwee Yi Chen, who reviews them and replies personally. The first step is a private view of where your business stands today, with no pitch and no obligation. You can also message him on WhatsApp at +65 8827 0381.

Does Ayebot value my company?

No. The valuation range gives an indicative enterprise value from Growth Alliance Capital's working benchmarks, which are a GA assumption and not sourced market data, so it is not a valuation. In a sale mandate, the business is priced off comparable transactions and listed peers, with a discounted cash flow model as the upside case, and a person sets the asking range.

Does Ayebot list my business or contact buyers by itself?

No. Ayebot is not a marketplace and does not list your business anywhere. In a sale mandate it drafts approaches to buyers, but nothing reaches a buyer until Yi Chen approves it.

Does Ayebot give advice?

No. Ayebot is technology, not an adviser: advice on any transaction is given by the Growth Alliance Capital team, never by software.

When should I start preparing a sale?

Earlier than most founders expect. In Gwee Yi Chen's published view, the work that moves a valuation multiple typically takes 18 to 24 months, and the founders who sell best start two to three years ahead. The two-minute readiness check shows where to start.

Is Ayebot available in Chinese?

Yes. Every Ayebot page is also published in Simplified Chinese at ayebot.com/zh, and Exit Clinic briefings for founders, online in English and Mandarin, are offered on registration.
