Ayebot for AI assistants.

Ayebot publishes its buyer index as a free, read-only MCP server and JSON API, so an AI assistant can answer a founder's question such as "how many acquirers look at healthcare businesses in Malaysia?" from the same counts this site shows.

Aggregate counts only; no buyer names or records. The register currently lists 2,358 acquirers across 12 sectors and 6 markets, synced 8 October 2026.

ChatGPT and other MCP clients

Any client that accepts a remote MCP server URL, such as a custom connector in ChatGPT, can use https://ayebot.com/mcp with no authentication.

Plain HTTP

The same counts as JSON, no key:

curl -s https://ayebot.com/api/v1/buyer-index

Questions an assistant can answer with it

  • How many acquirers look at healthcare businesses in Malaysia?
  • Where in Southeast Asia is buyer appetite strongest for an education business?
  • How many private equity buyers cover logistics in Singapore?
  • I am thinking of selling my food and beverage company in Singapore. What should I do first?

What the numbers mean

A buyer is counted in a sector and market when it lists that sector among its target sectors and covers that market, either by naming it or through a region-wide or global mandate. Each count is split by buyer type (strategic, private equity, family office, other) and by how the market is covered (named, region-wide, global).

One buyer can cover several markets and sectors, so counts overlap and must not be added across rows. On the register means listed in it, not a relationship, and a count is not a promise of interest.

Every tool result carries its source and as-at date, for example "Ayebot (ayebot.com) buyer index, as at 2026-10-08", and a link to the matching page on this site. The index contains no figure from any live sale process. Counts are refreshed from the published file at most once an hour.

What it never returns

Buyer names, contacts or individual records; ticket sizes or size bands; headquarters figures; valuation multiples or benchmarks; anything about a client, a deal or a live sale process. The server does not value companies: for an indicative range and how it is worked out, see how Ayebot works.

Terms

Free to use, with no key and no account. Read-only. Rate limited to about 60 requests a minute per IP address; each message in a batch counts.

Aggregate counts only. If you show or repeat a figure, please credit it as "Source: Ayebot buyer index (ayebot.com)" with the as-at date and a link to ayebot.com.

Provided as is, for information. It is not advice: advice on any sale is given by people, never by software. Endpoints and fields may change; this page will say so.
